 Brass Band Reviews

Dungarvan Brass Band is from County Waterford, Ireland. They are current Intermediate champions for their region and have a great site and what a lovely bandroom too!! - officially opened on September 12th 1999. The Dungarvan Brass Band teaches and trains anyone who wants to learn and this is reflected in their site. There is something for everyone and lots of photos of it's members. Some very nice touches like the instrument guide and a very interesting calender

theMouthPiece.com
The Brass Band discussion forum was the brainchild of John Burns from Newport, South Wales. Launched a year ago last September the site has filled a gapping hole which was left in the developing world of banding on the internet. It's a place where banders of all backgrounds and standards can have their say about all the things that matter in banding! Contests, adjudicators, and all the things close to our hearts! Bands can advertise concerts, vacancies and even items to buy and sell all free on the site. I am one of the team of moderators who alongside John run the site keeping it family friendly and welcoming to ALL. www.themouthpiece.com

Sparklyland Brass Band Reviews
Since the beginning of Sparklyland an interesting section has been 'Sparklyland Brass Band Reviews' and due to this the site has recieved a good number of hits from banders nationally. Over the last 2 years of home use of the internet has soared. Banding on the net has followed this trait . with the development of News and discussion sites such as 4barsrest, theMouthPiece thebandsman and britishbandsman. Evolving with technology band websites have now just about become standard amoungst bands worldwide. Bands now realise that the internet has fast become one of the biggest resources to publicise themselves, not only within the banding community, but to the whole world. In true banding style the websites reflect the diverse nature of the banding world. If you have any comments and suggestions or would even like to nominate a site for reviewing contact us or Click here for Sparklyland's banding section.
